This little family; mum, dad, and their 14-month-old baby girl, were on vacation, taking time to soak in the Irish coast and make some lifelong memories. From the moment we met, it was clear that this was going to be a session filled with love and laughter. I gave them some gentle prompts, and then just let them be. No forced poses, no awkward “say cheese” moments — just real, relaxed times, full of snuggles, tickles, and drawing in the sand.

Mum and dad were so natural with their baby girl. They played little peek-a-boo games, sang her favourite songs, and showed her the wonder of the sand beneath her feet. We even had a snack break halfway through (because let’s be honest — no toddler session survives without one!). Our knees got soaked in the wet sand, and yes, the beach found its way into every fold of our clothes but that’s part of the fun. These are the moments that make up real life.
