Modern wedding at the rustic Wool Tower

Rustic and Unique wedding at the Wool Tower

This unique wedding was at the Raceview Mill Ballymena, which offers a comfortable setting for a chilled out wedding day. From getting ready on site, a ceremony in the vaulted wool house, and afternoon drinks outside alongside the river, the Wool Tower is completely stress free.

As for wedding photography, it offers a wide range of scope; the field beside, old buildings and stone walls and a path alongside the river. If you’re after rustic vibe and a venue with character this could be the inspiration you need.

After the ceremony the couple cut their cake outside, had drinks and enjoyed some appetisers with their guests. The kids played and ran along the orchard’s grass. A while later we headed to explore the grounds, just the three of us, leaving the guests behind to chill and enjoy the summer sun. Most of the family formals were shot at the iconic garage door way, as it was in the shade and proved great as everyone didn’t have squinty eyes.

I hope that some of these images give you a flavour and feel for the wedding day. I have chosen to show parts of the day here, to highlight what the atmosphere was like. This should give you a wonderful flavour of the Wool Tower, Broughshane.
