Glamorous and lavish Castle Wedding in Northern Ireland
Winter Wedding at Killeavy Castle Estate and Spa
Today’s wedding venue was truly a fairytale, as Rachel and Colm were married at Killeavy Castle Estate, in Northern Ireland. The wedding party’s fashion is elegant and unique (the guys looked very dapper) but one of my favourite parts of this wedding was the fun energy of the bridesmaids and bride! Tiffany Gage Photography captured the luxury, the luscious Christmas decor and the golden candlelight in these oh-so-pretty photos of the Estate grounds.
The bridal party arrived in a limousine to the castle. The ceremony took place inside the marquee event building, which was later transformed into the dining hall. The wedding had full exclusive use of the castle rooms and downstairs bar, where they had afternoon acoustic music, appetisers and a soft seat with a view of the Mourne Mountains.
The grounds at Killeavy Castle Estate and Spa, have a of scope regarding photography. The front of the castle makes for beautiful shots up the castle entrance steps, or opposite with a stunning backdrop the Mourne Mountains and countryside. To the other side of the castle, you are lead on a forest woodland walk, which you can see in the images below, with the river. The natural beauty in the area, is outstanding. There is also a walled garden and small walk from the castle to the main hotel, which I would recommend on a warmer summer day when the flowers are in bloom. The food is spectacular, the chef curates a meal with local produce, most of it is grown and from the estate it’s self. The staff are very accommodating and friendly.
