How many hours is an elopement?

As long as you need! It depends what you want captured. Are you getting ready in a cute Irish cottage, saying your vows at a stunning location, then planning to get amazing couples photos at a number of locations? Go for drinks or join others for a specially crafted dinner... I think we need to zoom and discuss these amazing options further! Book a chat.

A few hours or days?

Believe it or not, your elopement can last for a few days. Why not make the most of the stunning landscapes Ireland has to offer and explore it with me, your photographer? I know all the good places and best times to go at to get those amazing sunrises and sets!

The top reason to elope instead of having a traditional wedding is that when you elope, you get to craft a totally unique intimate wedding experience just for the two of you. Strip away the pressure and obligations, and instead plan a day that truely suits the two of you. You can also bring a few guests - It's all up to you.

FAQ

The Causeway Coastal route is an amazing location. Why? It's only an hour from the airports, there are so many hidden gems to explore from the Giant's Causeway's famous stones & organ pipe cliffs to lots of old castle ruins with stunning sandy white rock beaches. The locations are all within a short driving distance from one another. Choose your favourite for your ceremony then visit a couple of the other spots for your adventure portraits as a newly married couple! See this blog post.

Can you help with our timeline and link me to other vendors?

Yes! It's best to work around what you want. Contact me and we can discuss your needs or read this blog post. You can have a ceremony with close family & friends, then some awesome sunset images with just the two of you, and join your guests for a feast and celebration after! Once you've booked and set the date, I can recommend my super talented vendor friends. They are the best and you're going to want an awesome video!

What kind of weather should I expect?

When is best to elope to Ireland is entirely dependant on your preference. If you are looking for those dramatic, dark, magical shots, you probably want to brave the autumnal or winter months, as long as you also don’t mind rain, which is common in December and January. If it does rain on your wedding day, just try to embrace it and incorporate it, allowing your photographer to add more emotion and energy to the image.
